Winter programme · 30 Oct – 19 Dec 2026
Keep playing through the winter
Four eight-week courses on Friday nights and Saturdays, at St Aloysius College in Highgate and the new batting cages at Finsbury Park. There’s a course for adults who’ve never played, for experienced hitters and for children aged 12 and under.
The timetable
Choose your course and book it through Spond. Places are limited on every course, and payment covers the whole block. You can’t pay for single sessions.

12U Baseball
Players aged 12 and under · new and returning
Core skills first, then fielding positions, pitching mechanics and game situations. Every session finishes with a game, and the course leads into the Mets’ competitive youth teams.

- Bring your own glove if you have one
Finsbury Park to St Aloysius College is about 30 minutes by bus, so a family can do the morning hitting block and the afternoon youth sessions on the same Saturday.
“Winter is when players get better. Whether you’re picking up a bat for the first time on a Friday night, grinding through reps in the cages on a Saturday morning, or bringing your kids along in the afternoon, there’s a place for you at the Mets this winter.”
