About Us
The London Mets Baseball & Softball Club is a community amateur sports club based in Finsbury Park in the London Borough of Haringey and affiliated to the British Baseball Federation.
It is the premier baseball club in London, the only club in London with teams at every level from age 5 to adult, Including a Women's Baseball Team. We also have one of the only Fastpitch Softball teams (for girls between 13-18) in the UK.

The club has a strong emphasis on youth sports and community involvement and has strong links with local schools and other organisations.
We run extensive training camps for youth and adult players. we are also breaking ground being one of the only clubs in the country that have a developed program for beginner adults.

Our Coaching
We aim to provide the highest level of baseball coaching available in the UK. Many of our coaches have played at college level or above and all are qualified and CRB checked. Many of our adult players, some of the best players in the UK, are involved in coaching.
We try to apply the "double goal" approach to coaching in which each player's personal development through sport is as important, if not more important, as winning the next game.

Haringey and the surrounding London Boroughs of Islington and Hackney are some of the most diverse in the whole country. We are proud of the inclusive ethos of our club. Boys and girls are equally welcome and we have had female players at every level. Thousands of local young people have taken part in our schools outreach and holiday sessions and many of them have gone on to join the club and become skilled players.
We also draw support and players from a wider area and from those new to London who already love the games of baseball or softball. Players, coaches and volunteers from the US, Japan, many European countries and South America have always been an important part of the club and contribute to its unique atmosphere. We find that many young players new to the UK are helped to settle by joining the club and playing alongside teammates.

No youth player is turned away for financial reasons. Our regular youth training sessions are free and reductions in fees for our organised teams and Little League are be made for those who need them.
​
The club is run by Board of Directors elected by members each year at our Annual General Meeting. The club relies on volunteers and is funded by subscriptions, small grants and fundraising. As a Community Amateur Sports Club registered with HM Customs & Excise donations to us by UK taxpayers are enhanced at no cost to the donor. All donations are spent entirely on the work of the club.
