Our next open day youth taster for schools and local communities will come in April 2025.  Please watch this page or email us.  The tasters will open for youths aged 5-12 and will take place at our fields in Finsbury Park.

London Mets Youth Baseball runs regular free Youth Taster Events in the Spring and summer at the our Finsbury Park baseball fields.  Timing will vary but the sessions will always be for boys and girls aged 5-12 years old.   In any case, no prior experience or equipment is required as we'll have extra baseball gloves and other items on hand.  Come out for just a look or for the whole session with a short lunch break.  Later in the afternoon, our youth players typically play a bit of sandlot ball where anything goes!

Our multilingual coaches will have loads of activities to try out and kids will be able to learn some new skills and the basics of baseball using soft safety balls.

No prior registration is needed for the open tasters but we advise either letting us know in advance or using our simple trial registration link above.  The Mets youth teams will also be out training or playing games so you'll also see some real baseball being played.

The Finsbury park events are always subject to proper field and weather conditions but please do wear appropriate outdoor clothing and trainers or cleats.   Please check the website for any last minute changes.
